My fabulous Chickpea Hummus Recipe

It’s so quick and easy you won’t ever have to buy hummus again.

What you’ll need:
1 can of chickpeas (rinsed and strained)
1 large handful of fresh chopped coriander (cilantro)
2 cloves of garlic (cut into small pieces before blending)
Juice from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of water (this makes blending the mixture easier. Add more water as needed)
Optional: a pinky size piece of onion
Season with salt and freshly ground pepper

Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz.
When smooth, add in glass Jars and use generously as a pasta sauce, dip, salad dressing or spread.
