Unforgiveness destroys everything

Unforgiveness will kill you. Or at the very least contaminate everything good in your life.

Ask God to help you forgive those who hurt you. And then, every time thoughts reminding you of what happened come, say:

“I’ve been set free from that garbage!”

Do it until the pain is gone. Until you no longer hurt. Until all bitterness vanishes.

Every person must eat the seed of what they sow- let the evil that people did to you be on them- don’t let it destroy you.

You deserve better. You deserve freedom.

Oh Beautiful One, I send you Love!

What if Jesus stopped Loving?

There is beautiful Jesus. He’s on His way to Jerusalem when ten lepers call out to Him: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

You know the rest of the story- He heals them. And yet, out of the ten only one comes back to thank Jesus. Only one.

Jesus doesn’t become bitter. He doesn’t preach a million sermons about how ungrateful people are. He doesn’t stop healing. And He sure doesn’t stop doing good.

In His beautiful heart He knew all about who Judas was.
He knew Judas was stealing from Him.
He knew Judas would betray Him- and yet still He walked with him- and Loved him…

People will hurt you.

And maybe only one out of ten people will thank you for your help.

There will be times you bend over backwards to help folks- to be there for them- to love them as much as you know how and they will turn around and crucify you. They did it to Jesus-
And you know what? He didn’t examine Himself and wonder what He’d done wrong. He didn’t beat Himself about the ingratitude of those He served- because He knew and understood how fallen we humans are- but even more than that nothing could stop Him from Loving us as fiercely as He did when He walked this earth- and still does today.

The only way we can love and serve and give the way He did is to have Him love through us- any other way is utterly impossible.
Because what do you do when your best friend turns on you?
What do you do when those you poured your life out for turn around and axe you in the back?

What do you do when those you opened yourself up to- welcomed into your home- ate with- betray you in ways you never thought possible?

For most of us the answer would that we’d be extremely hurt. And we’d probably get bitter. And angry. And resentful.
Then we’d seal our hearts.
We’d build a severe mistrust of people- not allowing anyone in- and if we did they’d have to jump a gazillion hoops to ever win us over…

That’s no way to live.

If most of us are truly honest- we’ll admit that we too have hurt others- even betrayed those who loved, respected, trusted and honoured us. Maybe we didn’t do it intentionally but still we caused harm. And hurt.
We all need grace.

Michael Card once sang: “Only a friend can betray a friend, a stranger has nothing to gain. And only a friend comes close enough, to ever cause so much pain.”

Does that mean that we stop loving? I hope not.
Because what if Jesus stopped loving us?

What if the disappointment and let downs he experienced from people caused Him to turn around and say: “I’m done with this lot!”
Where would any of us be then?

I pray Daddy God would pour His healing balm over your heart. That the wounds others inflicted on you would be sealed and healed forever.

I pray that You would have the willingness to let Jesus love through you the way He continued to love those who showed Him no gratitude, those who rejected Him, those who hurt Him worse than anyone should ever experience… May You be filled with His kind of Love. Because it’ll set you free.

Beware the Fake Facebook “Likes” scam

When we started our Dream BIG TV Show, we were eager to get eyeballs.

We had less than a shoestring budget so marketing, for us, seemed way out of reach. When someone approached us saying they could get us a whopping 5000 Likes, for just R1000 every month, we jumped at the opportunity. We didn’t know better.

We paid our R1000. The following day we had an extra 1000 likes on our page- we were besides ourselves! Could this be! It felt too good to be true. It was!

I begun to look into who had “Liked” our page. Something struck me as odd. The names were all foreign. And they all came from Turkey!

I begun contacting the people who’d “Liked” our page- hardly any of them spoke English. The ones that could said they didn’t know who I was or what our Page was about. We’d been scammed!

I told the person we’d bought the “marketing” package from to stop the campaign immediately- We’d been duped!

We lost our R1000 on “Likes” that essentially meant nothing.

I contacted Facebook and told them what’d happened.

I also spent hours trying to delete each fake like- it was affecting the legitimate advertising we were doing on Facebook.

Here’s what we learned from that ordeal: legitimate Facebook advertising i.e. ads bought through Facebook, work. Anything else is a scam.

The point of “Likes” on your Facebook Page is not how many Likes you’ve got- it’s the engagement you get from people who like your Page. The goal is getting people who are genuinely interested in your product or service offering Liking your page and ultimately buying from you. Fake Likes will never get you that.

In short, when someone tells you then can get you an X number of Likes on Facebook- RUN!

Learn how to grow your numbers genuinely on Facebook and how to convert Likes to actual clients who’ll buy from you. Then and only then will you see the results you want.

Do You Want The FAVOR Of God On Your Work?

WHAT is the “favor” of God on someone’s life and WHY should we ask God for favor?

Favor is NOT about you, or me, it’s about the PEOPLE we are called to influence.

When God puts favor on someone’s life, it’s not because God wants to bless that person, as much as it is GOD WANTS TO REACH the people that person influences.

God’s love for the PEOPLE brings a vortex of unusual favor,

open doors, and other events, that allows for God to bring about His purpose for the PEOPLE.

God WILL promote and raise up someone with unusual favor because there are PEOPLE groups He wants to impact and that person is operating in excellence, will believe Him and will obey Him.

God looks for excellence, ESPECIALLY when it comes to business.

The world could care less if you’re a believer when it’s time to do brain surgery. They will quickly dismiss good intentions over a great track record of excellently saving someone’s life.

Sadly, a lot of people have not wanted to do business with believers because they lack excellence, have bad attitudes and run things poorly.

Get very good at what you do in the natural,

so that God can put His “SUPERnatural” on top of it and use it for His purposes.

I’ve had people who lead in the church come into my company and create a mess of debt, confusion and distress.

Just because someone can use their manipulation and ‘smooth talking’ in the church realm doesn’t mean it will be accounted for as excellent in the business world.

I’ve also had people who don’t know God deliver an assignment excellently, with an attitude that shines, who I’d much rather do business with then someone who boasts of having “God’s favor” on their life, but has no integrity.

Always be cautious of one who boasts of ‘the call of God’ on their life. Jesus said to watch the fruit. FAVOR is obvious. Excellence is too.

The church should shine the BRIGHTEST

We should be the ones the world WANTS to do business with.

The Kingdom of Heaven lives within us and we have the answers the world needs, but if we never grow up and learn to live excellently in all that we do, we’ll never have the opportunity to release that. Sadly, we will continue to see the powers of corruption that exist in high places of influence.

God needs His excellent men and women to do a job so well the world WANTS to hire them.

Think of Daniel. Remember His heart. He was excellent.

As we enter 2016, I challenge you to consider your work as your offering to God.

Your job is your ministry

What that means is YOU should be the BEST man or woman for the job.

The results you deliver to the company you work for should be the best you can possibly bring.

Always seek to improve yourself personally and have a work ethic that is EXCELLENT.

You should be the one who shines the brightest, doesn’t need to constantly be supervised, manages money, time and other things you are given authority over well, is ahead of what is expected and not behind, always improving without any reminders from those who lead you.

THIS person God can use, and will promote for His purposes.

The plan of God on your life isn’t really the big deal,

but the PURPOSES that God has for where you could influence is everything. God gives us a lot in free will, and face it, the church hasn’t done the best job running the things God has given.

If we ran corporations like many people run their ministries, they’d be bankrupt. This shouldn’t be. It is my belief that God has held certain believers back because they just couldn’t HANDLE the places He wanted to release them to and the PURPOSES He has for them. They’re still whining about ‘what happened to them’ and ‘how things should have been’ instead of SEEKING FIRST the Kingdom of heaven.

Let 2016 be the year you seek to live excellently,

walk excellently, stop giving excuses for why you are not. Then, ask GOD what IMPOSSIBLE THING He’d like to accomplish on the earth through you and then……be the BEST person for the job, in the workforce and in the spiritual realm! #BeMore than you were last year. Live excellently. Be trustworthy. Follow through. DON’T seek your own financial gain in the purposes of God. Seek HIS goal.

The favor of God on someone’s life is not about the person God is using, rather, it is for the PEOPLE God wants to impact and influence.
